About us
The Tartu Ambulance Foundation provides medical emergency service in Estonia with 26 ambulance brigades.
We have over 430 staff, who work across a wide range of roles. Our main role is to respond to emergency 112 calls. Other services we provide include providing pre-arranged patient transport, medical security and medical training. It is also possible to rent rooms in our station in Tartu.
Working with the police and the fire service, we are prepared for dealing with large-scale or major incidents in Estonia.
We undertake regular patient satisfaction surveys in order to measure our success, and to identify areas for improvement. Gathered information is used to develop action plans to ensure that we continue to provide the highest possible patient care.
